Strategic Five-Year Plan

Bridgeway CHH is executing a multi-phase housing and community development plan to provide sustainable, inclusive, and affordable housing solutions integrated with comprehensive health services. This initiative addresses housing shortages, enhances community well-being through accessible healthcare, fosters community development, and ensures long-term stability and improved health outcomes for underserved populations.

Phase 1.

​

Track 1: Affordable Housing Development: 2500 units

​

• Year 1-2: Secure land, finalize zoning approvals, and establish public-private partnerships for initial sites.

• Year 2-3: Break ground on initial phase of construction, delivering the first 500 housing units.

• Year 3-4: Accelerate development, completing an additional 1,000 units, and strengthening partnerships with MassDevelopment, leveraging Tax-exempt bonds and LIHTC.

• Year 4-5: Deliver the remaining 1,000 units, achieving the total goal of 2,500 affordable housing units.

Track 2: Integrated Group Homes & Health Services: 1000 units

​

• Year 1: Form strategic healthcare partnerships, finalize service models, and secure initial funding and permits.

• Year 2: Develop the first 200 group homes with integrated health service capabilities.

• Year 3: Refine the operational model based on initial results, expand service and care protocols, and construct an additional 300 group homes.

• Year 4: Scale up operations, delivering another 300 group homes, and integrate comprehensive care systems.

• Year 5: Complete the final 200 homes, achieving 1000 integrated group homes with supportive health services.

This dual-track, five-year strategic plan positions Bridgeway CHH as a leading innovator in sustainable, impactful solutions that stabilize housing, improve health outcomes, and create lasting community transformation.

Phase 2.

• Focus on constructing a community center, a transitional housing facility, and a health services complex. These additions will provide vital support services, create a strong sense of community, and ensure residents have access to essential healthcare and temporary housing solutions.

Phase 3 finalizes the plan with the completion of full-scale community housing and operational infrastructure, establishing a sustainable model that will continue to serve the community for generations to come.
